On a gloomy and misty summer Tuesday, we venture all the way out to Syracuse to catch up with the AAPRCO DeWitt Chapple Memorial Special convention train traveling along the Finger Lakes Railway. We would follow the train all the way from Solvay to its destination in Canandaigua, stopping at scenic sites along the way.
I hope you enjoy this production, as it was one of the more ambitious, far traveled, and expensive outings I have had, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. This has inspired me to start planning a return trip to the Finger Lakes Railway to catch some freight action in the future.
